Tom Wilkinson was formerly the officer in charge of the Queensland Police Breath Analysis Section and has 27 years experience in the field of evidential breath analysis, roadside alcohol breath testing, drug driving and drugs of abuse detection and prevention.

This experience includes research and development of legislation, policy, procedures accredited training courses and provision of training for the prevention and detection of alcohol and drug related matters.

Tom has trained in the use of evidential breath analysing instruments, breath testing devices, in the recognition of impairment, field sobriety testing and fitness for duty testing and is a certified workplace trainer and assessor.

Tom has extensive court experience on all aspects of drink/drug driving, including interpretation of legislation, proper use of equipment, training procedures, workplace health and safety issues, policy and procedural matters.
